That was awesome!
Oh yeah, our 4th of July rocked! We had a blast working on the new deck at D&J's place, we had loads of drinks both the naughty and non-naughty kind, we ate, laughed and played
and generally exhausted ourselves with the amount of fun we had. We all had a blast passing S's three-week-old son around and her daughter got to socialize with the big kids and their toys. D&J even picked up this super cool 3 lane Slip and Slide so C, J and D all had their own lane of watery fun!

After the fireworks, alas, the children turned back into pumpkins!
And, boy, did they ever not want to get up the next morning! Not that any of the adults did either, but we at least had the presence of mind not to tantrum about it!

Oh I tantrumed! Big time! Right in the middle of the living room floor! Threw myself down, waving my arms and legs, pounding my fists!
No luck though - D still wouldn't spank me! :(

Tantrum? That's not what I usually do in the bathroom......
